IrfanView is a very fast, small, compact and innovative FREEWARE (for non-commercial use) graphic viewer for Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista.
It is trying to be simple for beginners and powerful for professionals.


IrfanView is trying to create new and/or interesting features in its own way, unlike some other graphic viewers, whose whole “creativity” is based on feature cloning, stealing of ideas and whole dialogs from ACDSee and/or IrfanView! (for example: XnView has been stealing/cloning features and whole dialogs from IrfanView, for 7+ years).

What’s New:
* New PlugIn: Paint (Edit menu, Hot***: F12, thanks to Matteo Italia!)
It allows IrfanView to paint lines, circles, arrows, straighten image etc.
* Support for embedded color profiles in JPG/TIF (Properties->Viewing)

* Zoom calculation changed: relative, based on previous zoom value

* Fullscreen options can be changed during fullscreen mode
* Browsing: if CTRL pressed, the file index increases/decreases by 5 (default: 1)

* New option for Import palette: Use nearest color (Properties->Misc 3)
* Changes in print option Scale (original image size is used as input)
* New print option for multipage images: Print odd or even pages
* Some changes/optimizations in HTML templates
* CTRL+A selects the whole image in the main window
